The Middle East Forum presents this week's webinars.
*Note: There will be no webinar on Friday, January 26. The Middle East’s Widening War
with Col. Richard Kemp
In the 100-plus days since Oct. 7, what began as a massacre by Hamas and a retaliation by Israel has remarkably widened. Clashes between Israel and Hizballah on the Israel-Lebanon border. Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen attacking commercial shipping and American naval vessels in the Red Sea. Iran bombing targets in Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan, with the last returning fire. Will this process continue further? How much does that depend on developments in Gaza? Will outside powers be drawn into all-out war?
