Meeker County, Minn.

I hate to snow on my fellow Meeker Co., MN farmers parade but it's snowing. Six or seven inches and hasn't stopped yet. Temps in low teens by weekend. Farming in MN is not for the timid. Beautiful bean harvest. Avg. 58/bu./acre. Nice bump in price at the right time, too. But getting the corn out now will be a challenge. Yield should be good. But there will by a bumper crop of mud, too.
