Former Handy Stop owner to open smaller store next month in downtown Lafayette

You'll likely remember Handy Stop Market & Cafe, which closed back in February after a two-year run as the downtown Lafayette's grocery store. Now the owner and a former silent partner will open a similar concept with a smaller footprint and what they is a better idea of what downtown residents want.
