| Hello hello! Here in the UK it's nearly time for the school holidays. Which, even at the tender age of, ahem, twenty-one brings a childlike thrill and sense of wonder. A chance to reset, to question the routine and to dream of adventure big and small across the world. This year, I'm staying in Europe but it's always nice to dream of far flung destinations. And perhaps because I'm writing this at lunchtime, I'm thinking about food. Dreaming of the shrimp and grits in Alabama, the sweet and succulent dates from Oman and the deep reds of Uruguay. Well, maybe that last one should wait for dinner. On my future travel list, I have my eye on these guides to Ethiopia, Uganda and Tibet. OK, I'd better stop there. It's time to get packing for West Wales. Which is beautiful - and only a short drive away.
