Last week, I travelled to a brand new destination. The world of Harry Potter. It was my daughter's birthday present and, until recently, I had managed to avoid the wizarding world altogether.
I really didn't think that dragons and fantasy were my kind of thing.
And what a mistake that was. From truth-telling mirrors to monster-biting books, Hungarian horntails to sleek, sweet butterbear. And even a vibrant Welsh Green (I always have a soft spot for a shout out to my homeland.)
Whether you know what I'm talking about or not isn't the important thing (just kidding, you should read and catch up.)
The important thing is the reminder to try something new. Particularly when it comes to books.
Just scribble in the back to make sure to visit Harry Potter too.
Until next week,
Cheers, Abi

With a staggering 90% of its species existing only on this island, Madagascar offers safaris like nowhere else on earth.
Yet Madagascar’s ecosystem is under threat. With approximately 95% of its original forests already lost, your visit, through a responsible operator like Remote River Expeditions - Madagascar, can actively contribute to conservation and protect the survival of these species. | Ad
