• Follow the leaders. Fortune's annual list of the World's Greatest Leaders is out—and features a record 23 women. This year's diverse group of honorees includes such badass leaders as Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi (No. 3), Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (No. 9), and the co-founders of Black Lives Matter (No. 27). I'm particularly inspired by No. 34, first-ever female Army Rangers Shaye Haver and Kristen Griest. According to Griest, she made it through the notoriously grueling course by thinking "of future generations of women." Fortune

• Mavens making moves. Big news from two of my Fortune colleagues: Pattie Sellers and Nina Easton. The duo is starting a new company called SellersEaston Media, which will tap into their storytelling prowess to produce multimedia life stories for individuals, businesses and other groups. Luckily for us, they will stay on at Time Inc. to help lead Fortune's Most Powerful Women events. Good luck, ladies! Fortune

• Bye-bye, board? Hedge fund Starboard Value is seeking to replace all nine of Yahoo's directors. The activist investor says both the company's board and management—the beleaguered tech giant is led by CEO Marissa Mayer—have continually failed to live up to their own promises. Wall Street Journal

• Does not compute. Under pressure from an activist shareholder, Amazon revealed that it studied employee pay and found that it compensates men and women equally. But while Amazon may not have a wage gap, it's clear that unequal pay remains an issue in the tech industry. Indeed, a new study found that computer programmers actually have a larger gender wage differential than any other job.

• Policy pontificating. In the wake of the Brussels bombings, Hillary Clinton attacked Donald Trump and Ted Cruz's counter-terrorism proposals and laid out her own plans to respond to the terrorist threat. Time

• All talk, no walk. Despite all the lip service paid to corporate diversity, new research finds that white and male executives who actively promote and value diversity aren't rewarded by their superiors. Even more depressing: Women and minorities who do so are actually rated much worse than their counterparts who don't actively promote balance. Harvard Business Review

• Raising the rent. Rent the Runway is launching Unlimited, a subscription service that allows members to rent clothing for everyday wear. The cost for juicing your closet with some temporary new duds: nearly $1,700 a year. Fortune

MOVERS & SHAKERS: Goldman Sachs Group has reportedly hired Sarah-Marie Martin as a partner in its financial sponsors group. She currently is a managing director at Credit Suisse.

• The evolution of Barbie®. An expanded line of Barbies® - complete with new colors, hairstyles, shapes and sizes - has created headlines around the world. Deloitte's Deepa Purushothaman thinks about the parallels with Barbie's® story and the journey of women in the workforce. Read more…

• Off Broadway buyouts. Claire Danes is starring in Dry Powder, a new Off Broadway play set in a fictional private equity firm. Bloomberg

• BLM on the big screen. Amandla Stenberg, who you may have caught as Rue in The Hunger Games, is on board to star in The Hate U Give, a film inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement. EW

• K for kreativity. The Kardashians are being sued for $180 million by a disgruntled investor in their makeup line. One of the more entertaining details to come out of the suit is that the names of the sisters' various companies include 2Die4Kourt, Khlomoney Inc. and, yes, Kimsaprincess Inc.

• Anne + A-Rod? I usually try to stay away from gossip, but I couldn't help myself on this one: 23andMe CEO Anne Wojcicki is reportedly dating NY Yankee Alex Rodriguez. Fortune
