Well, it's still love month so I'll be sharing my Valentine crafts with you throughout whole month of February. Here's one you could still make even after the season to add beauty to your front doors.

One of the books we (my children and I) read was about the solar system. After reading a book, we like to have a hands on activity. Today's hands on activity is using watercolors to recreate some of the planets. We did Earth, Mars, Venus, and our moon. We used glittery watercolors and it's extra sparkly and pretty (according to my toddler girl).

This is a cute handmade card featuring a heart-shaped guitar with actual strings. When you bend the card a bit, the strings move! This is a fun all-ages craft.

This is a simple way to make a small pincushion from a plastic bottle cap. You could also attach a small loop of elastic band beneath it and wear it on one of you fingers as you sew.

These homemade scrubbing bath salts are fantastic as a gift to a friend or to yourself! They're easy and cheap to make, they work wonderfully, and are extremely simple to personalize.

I have seen people fill heart shaped boxes with roses or dried flowers. I thought they were pretty and I knew I could do something like they had. Well the best laid plans of mice and woman...I went another way.

If you shop in the dollar section at Target, the packaging can potentially be reusable. Here is how I made these Valentine's Day cards from the $1 paper tape packaging!

Day two of the craft days, I made a coaster for larger cups/soup mugs using just three things.
Toy Helicopter/Airplane Landing Pad
By 15mhhm15
With a little imagination, your toddler can have an unlimited amount of landing pads for their toy helicopters, airplanes.
Heart Shaped Caterpillar Name Puzzle
By 15mhhm15
After making the caterpillar Valentine's Day card, I thought the concept would be an amazing way for my daughter to learn how to spell her name. She knows her alphabet and that her name starts with a "J", but without having the letters in front of her physically, to complete her name she says them out of order.

Do you need a last minute Valentine's gift for a friend, loved one, co-worker, teacher, etc.? Plants would be perfect! And to add a cute touch to the gift, add a plant stake with a cute personalized message on a paper heart.

Sleeping in the living room has it's perks. The dark side of that is I like things to look nice should someone show up to visit and for me, too.

This is a cute and simple Valentine's card you can make. It will be easier if you have a paper heart puncher. I was able to use some scrap sheets of paper to create this card.

We had this kind of decoration during the high school times when everyone's very fond of kissing booths. Here's a very simple decoration you can add to your walls to spread more love and kisses this Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day Pencil Arrow Card
By 15mhhm15
This is a cute Valentine's Day arrow card you can make with your child. It is perfect to give to your child's teacher and teacher's aide (our pink pencil says #1 best teacher and the standard yellow is for a teacher's aide). This card concept can be for classmates too!
No-Sew Gradient Felt Heart Purse
By attosa
This is a cute little purse to make out of leftover scraps of felt. There is no sewing involved, so this is a great beginner's craft. The purse handle is also a heart, just for some extra love!
Toy Wheelbarrow as Flower Planter
By Ana I.
I went to my favorite thrift store in search for outdoor decor. Towards the back in the toy section, I saw this metal and very sturdy child's wheel barrel. I had a vision of making it into unique garden decor.
This video shows you how to make a simple butterfly container from a plastic drink bottle that your kids will have a lot fun putting together and they can store crayons or other items in it when they are done.

Create splashes of color in your homemade candle. Use clear jars that are generally laying about the house.

It's easy to bling up plain tea lights with fancy tape. There is such a lot of choice and so many designs, colours, and patterns available that you can make them up for any occasion. Add sticky gems too for a bit more sparkle.
Homemade Watercolor Paint Recipe

I volunteer at an daycare center for mentally handicapped adults and wanted them to experience painting.
Printing Roses Using Celery Stalks
By Ana I.
This is a project that can be done by all ages! It all begins with a stalk of celery.
Use old silver silverware for the best "sounds", and usually they are more ornamental than what you find in a dollar store or such.
Recycled Milk Bottle Caps Palette
By Benetta
I love acrylic paint, but as the paint is quite expensive, I usually buy basic colors and mix what I need when painting.
