THE DEAD: Eleven more deaths in New Orleans were blamed Wednesday by the Louisiana Department of Health on Hurricane Ida, brining Louisiana's Ida death toll to 26. Nine of the newly confirmed victims were older than 64 and died of excessive heat during the power outage. One of them was Bywater photographer Laura Bergerol.
THE CURFEW: New Orleans lifted its Ida curfew on Wednesday. Jefferson Parish extended its through Friday.
