Fresh off nabbing Allegro Fund’s majority stake in Questas, Five V Capital is again sparking joy on the deals scene.

Street Talk understands Adrian MacKenzie and Srdjan Dangubic’s private equity shop has issued a request for proposal for its minority stake in share registry services company Automic Group – the second largest player in Australia behind Computershare.

Sources said Australia’s investment banking top tier – Barrenjoey, UBS, Macquarie, Jefferies, Goldman Sachs and Jarden – have all pitched for a role.
