But some items (and shipping methods) won’t fly in prison no matter what — and a recent drug bust involving a quadcopter drone is proof. The drone was flying over a Mississippi prison fence when it got caught in a security net. When guards found it, they noticed it was carrying cigarette lighters, headphones, a cell phone, phone chargers, and two ounces of drugs. After tracing the drone’s flight path, they eventually caught the two men who had launched it. They were apparently trying to help their friend out on the inside.
