| June 30, 2022 Minnesota is poised to allow over-the-counter THC products starting Friday , although recreational marijuana remains illegal. The legislature just authorized highly regulated cannabinoid products with small amounts of the active ingredient in pot. The new law allows for the sale and consumption of edibles containing small amounts of hemp-derived THC. No more than 0.3 percent of THC derived from hemp is allowed and no one under 21 can make purchases. There are also packaging rules to prevent marketing to children. DFL Rep.
