In March 2020, FinTech startups across the globe raised $2.05 billion worth of VC/PE investments across 214 deals. In terms of MoM trends, there was a decrease of 59.8% from the $5.11 billion raised by FinTechs in terms of VC funding in February 2020. In terms of the number of deals, there was an increase of 14% MoM compared to 249 deals in February.
In region-specific terms, the Americas dominated global FinTech VC funding in March with 54.1% in contributions in terms of funding value ($1.11 billion) and 45.7% in terms of the number of deals (98). |
