A jar of change being saved.My partner and I are on SSDI with SNAP and I am enforcing a budget for 4 people in this household. We consume a lot of tea so we get the gallon bags on our main shopping trip. My partner brews it up in a large Dutch oven like pot and makes 2 gallons out of that, one for him and one for the rest of us.

Sorting Construction Paper by Color - file box filled with labeled foldersI go through hundreds of sheets of construction paper. I use it frequently for scrapbooking, homemade labels, and cards. It is very annoying and time consuming to continuously dig through a pile of paper to find one color.

Storing Paint Chips for Easy Touch Up

A yellow paint sample being stored in the kitchen.As a result of buying the wrong paint, I developed a system for touch up paint. I now keep a paint chip card in each room. I also keep a duplicate of each in my calendar book as well, to have with me should I be shopping and see something to know if it would match or not.
