Filleting Fresh Salmon

By 15mhhm15

Filleting Fresh SalmonIn our household, we prefer to fillet our own salmon/fish at home even though it is a complimentary service at most grocery stores. The reason is at the stores, you are paying the total weight price of the fish "before" being fillet. Therefore depending on the level of experience the workers have, you could potentially lose out on meat and money, if they do not fillet close.

The Nitty Gritty On Peeling Boiled Eggs

By likekinds

A pile of hard boiled eggshells removed from the egg.I was thinking that overcooking the eggs literally glues the membrane to the egg white. This is a fact. Then, I thought that allowing the egg to cool before peeling would cause the membrane to shrink somewhat, making it fit tighter around the egg white. And, though I couldn't find a video on such, I was sure commercially peeled boiled eggs aren't given a cool down period.

Identifying Biting Bugs on BedI've been getting bitten these past few days on my feet and lower legs. I found a few of these bugs on my bed crawling. I have about 6 bites on my feet and ankles. They are small itchy and red. I washed my sheets and found some more on the top and sides of the mattress. I also found them on the bed frame. Are these bed bugs?

I can turn the mower from the top, but it will only turn so far then it stops like it's hitting something. It was mowing great then it just stopped. I have never had any trouble out of it.
