Festive Folk - Our new exhibition opens this weekend!

Inspired by this season of dark nights and fireside stories, we've invited a talented line up of makers to join us for our new exhibition - FOLK!

Some are known to us and some are joining us for the first time here at Atelier Beside the Sea. Visit the gallery this weekend and discover works by Bath-based Rowan MacGregor who makes exquisite characters from fine copper sheet and delicate soldered wires.

Enjoy prints and etchings imbued with myth and depicting landscapes real and imagined by Flora McLachlan,Cally Conway and Kit Boyd.

We have fantastical botanical punch needle creations from Bob & Eve, and stitched shrines and assemblages by Catriona Faulkner,collage from Kate Black, ephemeral jewellery from Rachel Larkins, and paper mâché sculpture from Emily Warren.

More pieces are arriving all the time. Come and enjoy the show and shop for unique and original gifts. We are open 11am - 5pm seven days a week.

Spell it out!

We've had a full restock of Abby Sumner's alphabet printsmeaning you can spell out whatever it is you're wanting to say.

The collection of characters are inspired by modern day typography with an added twist of risograph printing using a mixture of yellow, melon, aqua, blue, red and fluorescent pink inks.

Simply choose initials, or spell out a favourite word or phrase. The possibilities are endless!

Mighty miniatures

These pots could be any size, but they are, in fact, just an inch or two tall. Some the latest miniature pots to arrive at ABtS from the ever popular ceramicist Yuta Segawa.

Each is a one off - as are his full sized mugs and vases - with a unique combination of glazes. Shop online or come into the gallery to appreciate the interplay of colours and textures.
