Hospital deal challenged: The Federal Trade Commission has challenged LCMC Health's acquisition of three Tulane University Medical Center hospitals, prompting the hospital system to file suit against the feds. LCMC's suit says the FTC told it in March that its $150 million acquisition of the hospitals should have gone through a federal review process for potential anti-trust violations. Now the LCMC is facing up to $9.5 million in fines. Stephanie Riegel has the story.
