Feds accuse Galesburg man of inciting a riot in Chicago

CHICAGO - A Galesburg man arrested in Chicago over the weekend had homemade bombs in his car and had been seen on videos posted on the internet participating in the looting and rioting in Minneapolis and Chicago, according to federal charges filed Monday.

PEORIA - During a press conference at the Peoria NAACP office Monday morning local black leaders condemned the looting and destruction which has happened in Peoria in apparent protest to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week.

PEORIA - Peoria leaders continue to discuss the possibility of enacting a curfew in the wake of violence in the city overnight, Police Chief Loren Marion said Monday.

PEORIA - Hit by vandals, a Peoria jeweler was ready for a second and third attack.

PEORIA -- A person was reportedly shot in one or both legs Monday night at a Peoria liquor store.
