The MCFa Art Club Project has been a journey of creativity, collaboration, and artistic exploration, launched to celebrate MCFa’s 25th anniversary and bring new inspiration to the workplace. TokyoDex worked closely with MCFa to integrate artistic thinking into daily work and deepen employee engagement with creativity.
Throughout the program, initiatives like the Rethink Haizai Workshop and contemporary art appreciation sessions encouraged fresh perspectives on sustainability and creativity. As a core part of the program, an open call was held, drawing over 100 applicants, from which eight artists were selected. The Vision Art Workshops then brought together more than 100 employees and the selected artists to explore the theme of "trust" and envision the future through artistic dialogue—insights that directly shaped the artists’ work.
This collaborative process resulted in the creation of one 25th-anniversary symbolic piece and seven original canvas artworks, which were unveiled at MCFa’s New Year’s gathering on February 18th. Following the reveal, the artworks were installed throughout MCFa and Mitsubishi Corporation offices. We hope this initiative will continue to flourish as a lasting part of MCFa’s culture for years to come!

このプログラムでは、「Rethink 廃材ワークショップ」 や現代アート鑑賞ワークショップ などを通じて、サステナビリティやアートに対する新たな視点を養いました。さらに、コアとなる取り組みのひとつとして、100名を超えるアーティストからの応募を受け付け、8名のアーティストを選出。 その後、ビジョンアートワークショップ では100名以上の社員の皆様とアーティストが協働し、「信頼」というテーマをもとに対話を深め、アーティストの作品制作に大きな影響を与えました。
そして、これらの取り組みの集大成として、2月18日のMCFa新年会で、25周年記念のシンボルアート1点と、7名のアーティストによるキャンバス作品がついに発表されました！ 発表後、作品はMCFaおよび三菱商事のオフィス各所に設置され、プロジェクトの成果として形に残っています。
アートが生み出す可能性を信じ、社員の皆様とともに築き上げたこのプロジェクトが、これからもMCFaの文化の一部として根付き、成長し続けることを願っています！

Mushrooms vs. Robots is coming to Tokyo from March 26–31, 2025, at WHEREVER 1F!
Featuring 17 Japanese artists, this exhibition explores the tension between nature’s wisdom and the relentless march of technologythrough an entirely analog approach—paintings and prints only.
This show is more than an exhibition—it’s the launch of a larger, evolving project designed to connect Japanese artists with global audiences. Through audience participation, collaborations, and future international editions, Mushrooms vs. Robots will continue to grow, adapt, and expand.

At the Tokyo show, visitors will have the chance to:
