February 2022 issue

Dear John

And just like that, it is almost March. How is the year turning out for you? I hope all is well with you and your family.

In this month's issue, I'll share a productivity tool that helps me keep track of my tasks and projects.

I will also show you how easy it is to create a PowerPoint presentation from your pictures. If you find this useful, I invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/jackiekiadii). Videos are published Wednesday and Saturday mornings.

Thank you for being a subscriber, and have a great week!

Warmly,

PowerPoint Tip - Creating Picture Presentations
Image item
Let's say you have several pictures you want to use within a PowerPoint presentation. Perhaps you want to create a portfolio to display your work. Maybe you're creating a slide show for your family reunion.
Doing so is easier than you think.

(If you'd rather watch the video, please click here: https://youtu.be/KZYyJuoQv8A. Don't forget to hit the "Like" button if you find it useful.)

1. Make sure all of your pictures are in the same folder. While not required, it makes your work a lot easier.

2. In PowerPoint, click the Insert tab on your ribbon.

3. In the Images group, click Photo Album and select New Photo Album.

4. Click the File Disk button and select the drive where your pictures are saved.

5. Select the pictures. To select all, click the first one and hold down the SHIFT key while you select the last. To cherry-pick pictures, hold down your CTRL key as you select pictures.

6. Click the Insert button.

7. Select the layout and frame (if necessary).

8. Click the Create button.

Productivity Tip - Keeping your notes
Block 15th
Here's how it works:

I write notes in my paper journal. It's quick, easy, efficient, and my preferred method.

Then every couple of days, I quickly review what I've written, open otter on my phone, tablet, or laptop, and speak my notes. I save the transcript to Evernote or OneNote. This way, I have a permanent record of my most important items.

In addition, speaking my notes is a way to review them so that fewer action items fall through the cracks.
