On this day in 1995, The Canberra Times reported on the unusual case of Paul Dozsa who had been convicted of meal theft. The self-proclaimed record holder for non payment of meals, Dozsa claimed he had enjoyed 111 meals without making payment. The man was charged with refusing to pay for food and liquor, including a bottle of Grange Hermitage consumed at the Lakeside hotel.
