Caveat Emptor, music edition. Sometimes people book the wrong airline tickets because they're not paying attention, but seeing the wrong band? That's what happened to one couple in the U.K. who assumed they were seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In fact, they saw the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, a bagpipe band whose CD I bought as a gag when visiting my sister in Scotland. They are awesome.

China's space program doesn't give a crap. These images of Chinese Long March 3B boosters falling into residential communities are frightening. There's a reason most countries launch spacecraft from the coasts, but not China.

Speaking of safety, this drag racing mishap is haunting in its beauty. Thankfully the driver was not hurt.
