NJBPU APPROVES CLEAN ENERGY PROGRAM BUDGET | The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities approved the funding levels for the NJCEP FY21 budget. In addition to existing clean energy programs, the FY21 budget includes $1.5 million to support a new Acoustical Testing pilot program for water utilities that facilitates their purchasing or renting of monitoring systems to locate water leaks. National Drive Electric Week (September 26 - October 4, 2020) is a nationwide celebration to raise awareness of the many benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, better for the environment, and promote local jobs. Are you considering going electric? New Jersey residents who purchased or leased an eligible electric vehicle on or after January 17, 2020 may apply for an incentive of up to $5,000 from the Charge Up New Jersey program.
