Facebook to increase contractors' minimum pay

Facebook will increase the hourly minimum wage for contractors to between $18 and $22 from $15, depending on location, by mid-2020. The highest pay will go to content moderators, who often review violent and disturbing content.

Moody's: Small businesses most affected by tightening US job market
The number of workers employed by small businesses with fewer than 20 people grew by less than 1% in March and April, the lowest level since May 2011, according to data from Moody's Analytics. Employers of all sizes are facing increasing difficulties in finding and retaining suitable personnel as unemployment figures continue to fall, and Moody's economist Mark Zandi expects the problem to intensify, noting "the smaller the company, the greater the challenge."
