Face-to-face with your Favorite Author...

Sheltering in place doesn’t have to mean skipping A-list social events. In keeping with these times, Litquake presents another round of affordable fundraisers: a series of online author salons for very intimate audiences of ten. Grab your adult beverage of choice, kick back in your comfy chair and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask of everyone from an Oscar-nominated screenwriter, to a U.S. Poet Laureate, or a New York Times bestselling novelist.

Cost: $100 per salon (audience limited to ten people) or $500 for all six. Proceeds benefit Litquake!

From The Guardian’s Georgina Lawton comes the new memoir Raceless, a moving examination of how racial identity is constructed, through the author’s own journey grappling with secrets and stereotypes, having been raised by white parents with no explanation as to why she looked black. In conversation with model and journalist Jess Cole.
