When you just don't have time to bake . . . make a poke cake!
It's a busy day cake. You don't have to frost it. And it's incredibly delicious. It's really pretty simple: Throw a cake mix in the oven. Poke holes in it. Pour "stuff" over the cake and stack more stuff on top.
The "stuff " can be a syrup or a sauce. It fills the holes, soaks into the cake, and makes the cake moist and decadent--incredibly good.
