Challenges in running prison education include a need for more awareness and resources within the system. Prisoners are not always aware of what programs are available, and resources are limited.

The Pell Grant’s return will give incarcerated students much-needed support as they develop workplace and interpersonal skills, improve their employment prospects, and maximize the success of their re-entry.
