| | Expand Your Network at NSTA Engage: Fall20 | Immerse yourself in our special networking and social activities designed to foster community and create lasting experiences. Hang out, share, and learn from your fellow teachers of science at these special events you won’t want to miss! | | | The Science Expo networking events brings together educators from all levels to share fun activities, lessons, and ideas with colleagues. During these 45-minute sessions, each presenter will be allowed up to seven minutes in a modified PechaKucha style. This format originated in Japan and allows for very focused and streamlined presentations. This "social show-and-tell event" brings together leaders in science and STEM education as presenters offer 15 slides for 20 seconds each for a total of 5 minutes. Each five-minute presentation will offer teaching strategies and resources in the best practices in science and STEM education. Presenters will take questions during the last 10 minutes of the 45-minute time allocation. |
