Exercise Jar

By tiffanytallent1981

Exercise Jar - jar filled with craft sticks with different exercises on eachMy brother and I are trying to eat healthier foods and be more active. Since he works full time and is heavily involved in his church, it's difficult for him to get to the gym some days. And I simply can't afford to go. To make being active something to look forward to and more convenient, I made exercise jars.

Planting Garlic

By Sally

Planting Garlic - garlic cloveOne of our favorite foods does best when it is planted in the fall. It likes a well drained soil. Prepare the soil by tilling and removing all weeds. Break apart the garlic bulb into cloves. Place a clove pointed side up about 2 inches in the ground. Plant about 4-6 inches apart depending on the variety.

Vegan Mac and "Cheese"

By attosa

Vegan Mac and I made this vegan dish for two very important people in my life; my father who literally thinks cheese is poison, and my best friend who is on a vegan journey for health reasons. It's very quick to make. The sauce is done in a food processor or blender in the same amount of time it takes to boil the macaroni. The taste is exquisite. I actually prefer this over regular cheese versions. I hope you give it a try!

Bathing a Cat with Fleas - sopping kittenI found it easiest to put 1/4 cup of original blue Dawn and fill the kitchen sink. Do the forehead, under the chin, and cheeks first. Try your best not to get it in the eyes, nose, mouth or ears.
