Special tour for KQED Members
| The Presidio's Fort Winfield Scott is located along the national park's Pacific coast, just a short walk from the Golden Gate Bridge. When the Presidio was a U.S. Army post, Fort Winfield Scott was home to the Coast Artillery Corps. The Presidio Trust is now seeking one or more mission-driven organizations to transform Fort Winfield Scott into a campus focused on the significant environmental and/or social challenges of our time. On Friday, May 4, KQED Members can learn about the history, architecture and proposed vision for this historic Presidio campus during a tour with Presidio Trust experts. Register below to take advantage of this exclusive chance to peek behind the scenes of the Presidio. This invitation is not transferable. | |
