Kicking off this fine morning, an exclusive from out Arts and Culture specialist, Brian Ferguson who has taken a look at the demand to ban the Tattoo aircraft flypast above Edinburgh Castle due to 'emotional harm'. He explains: "They have provided some of the most spectacular dramatic moments of Edinburgh's summer festival season. But now the spectacular flypast staged above the Scottish Capital to coincide with performances of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo could become a thing of the past." Read everything you need to know right here. Next up, Scottish Secretary Alister Jack has reportedly claimed that he won £2,100 betting on a General Election in July. Shortly after the election date was announced by the Prime Minister, Mr Jack is reported to have told the BBC that he made money on betting on June and July. He claimed one of the bets was at odds of 25/1. Mr Jack then told the BBC last week that the comments were "a joke...I was pulling your leg." In a statement on Tuesday, the Scottish Secretary said he "did not place any bets on the date of the general election during May". Read more right here.
