The misleadingly-named Manage Our Wolves Act (HR 6784) is nothing more than a series of cruel attacks on the endangered Gray Wolf and the Endangered Species Act. The bill overturns a federal judgment that allowed Gray Wolves in Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin to remain on the Endangered Species list. It doubles down on a judgment to delist Wyoming's wolves for the sole purpose of blocking any future judicial review on the decision. The bill even directs the Secretary of the Interior to remove all Gray Wolves in the lower 48 from the Endangered Species list — while stripping the public's ability to challenge the delistings in court.
