The ETF Express US ETF awards’ winners report published Many congratulations to all the winners in this year’s ETF Express US ETF awards. This week we publish the awards report which gives you more insights from some of those winners. It’s been a week of predictions with both Morningstar and iShares predicting that European ETFs will see exponential growth over coming years: iShares predicts European ETF assets will double in the next five years while Morningstar predicts assets will hit EUR1 trillion before the end of this year. BlackRock and iShares had their own little celebration this week with their third quarter results showing USD129 billion of quarterly total net inflows across the board, with USD4.2 billion of iShares ETFs’ assets held in advisory accounts associated with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York - tucked snugly in next to the USD40 odd billion in ETF inflows over the quarter. We also talked to New Frontier this week, a firm that has been managing portfolios of ETFs for the last 15 years, on how the father and son team navigated the market volatility earlier this year and to a new firm, Red Tractor Advisers. Led by Craig Urciuoli, Co-Founder and President, the firm is a boutique multi-portfolio investment adviser and launches with an ESG ETF from Stance Capital, wrapped in a Blue Tractor shielded alpha wrapper. Late last week, we had political comment from Sal Bruno at IndexIQ, on the upcoming US election, and we now have new comment, this time from Bill DeRoche, Chief Investment Officer at AGF. Next week sees our US event, the etfLIVE North America digital summit, from 20-22 October. We are very pleased to announce that we are in partnership with the New York Stock Exchange for this event, and also have a media partnership with Women in ETFs. We also have announced new speakers, with a regulatory panel including Aisha Harris from Vident Financial, Frank Koudelka from State Street and Stacy Fuller from K&L Gates and a new panel, Accessing the European Market, with speakers from HANetf, The London Stock Exchange, BNY Mellon and A&L Goodbody.
