| The elephant in the room
I have decided not to mention the large grey beast, with a trunk, that is lurking in the corner. This week’s newsletter’s editorial will be virus free. We start with an interview with Michael Loukas, CEO of TrueMark, a new ETF provider and one that believes in active management within the traditional ETF structure. One of their first products is ECOZ, sub-advised by Purview Investment’s Dr Linda Zhang, ETF industry veteran and co-founder of Women in ETFs. Other stories this week come from etfLIVE Europe's Great Debate with interviews with our two proposers of the motion that ETFs will cause systemic collapse in the markets. The markets have somewhat overtaken these two interviewees, who stated their cases clearly a couple of weeks ago, but BlondeMoney’s Helen Thomas and Louis Gargour from LNG Capital have good points to make. And tallkng of etfLive Europe, it's going digital… In light of the global Covid-19 pandemic, ETF Express will be moving some of its physical events online, starting with etfLIVE Europe on 20 May. Expect an informative, engaging, online version of Europe's No1 ETF event. Watch this space!
