Hi John, Swedish telecoms equipment manufacturer Ericsson is planning to build its first fully-automated smart factory in the US to produce advanced antenna system radios for rapid 5G deployments.
China Mobile has adopted Nokia’s AirScale mMIMO Adaptive Antenna which Nokia says has been created specifically for the massive bandwidth and coverage requirements of the Chinese market as it transitions to 5G. Qualcomm Technologies and Chinese telcommunications equipment provider ZTE have demonstrated 5G-powered cloud gaming, on a live 5G network, utilising cloud gaming solutions from Tencent Instant Play on 5G smartphones from OnePlus, Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE. Global management consulting and professional services firm Accenture has made a deal to acquire BCT Solutions, a private tech consultancy that specialises in cyber security, for an undisclosed sum. Online cloud directory Cloudscene has launched Cloud Pathfinder, an online app that allows enterprises to search and connect with cloud partners “anytime, anywhere”.
