Entergy fined

The utility giant was slapped with a $150,000 fine for a few violations at its River Bend Nuclear Station near St. Francisville. Federal regulators dinged the company after finding out about an exam proctor falsifying a test, an operator cutting corners on safety checks and an unauthorized employee getting access to a cybersecurity room that should've been off limits. Reporter Kristen Mosbrucker tells us all about it in this story. 


Death row settlement

Louisiana death row inmates awaiting executions that may never happen will now get more time our of their cells and shared lunches after a legal settlement that requires the state's prisons to make conditions more humane. Lea Skene has the story. 


Pediatric COVID death

The coronavirus claimed the life of another child in Louisiana, bringing the state's pediatric death toll from COVID to 17 — eight of which were recorded during the fourth surge.
