| Leading the global movement to laser projection | | | Barco is driving the industry's adoption of laser projection: With a range of no less than 15 projectors, Barco provides the largest portfolio in the industry. More than 50 theaters have become all-laser multiplexes – tripling the number in less than a year. CMX, the VIP Cinema Experience from Cinemex, will open the first all-laser illuminated theater on the US East Coast. There are over 200 installations with flagship laser projection worldwide. Recently, the Lotte World Tower in South Korea - the largest screen on the planet - and Reel Cinemas selected flagship laser projection. With more than 1,500 installations in the field nine months after their launch, exhibitors are quickly adopting Barco’s Smart Laser projectors. |
