The celebrity chef is re-opening his flagship restaurant

NURSING HOME SCANDAL: The number of nursing-home residents who died after spending the aftermath of Hurricane Ida in abhorrent conditions at a former Tangipahoa pesticide factory has risen to 15, authorities said Thursday. Only five of those deaths under the care of nursing-home operator Bob Dean are said to be "storm related," though authorities said the number could rise.
GATOR UPDATE: The St. Tammany Parish Coroner has identified the remains found after capturing an alligator believed to have killed Timothy Satterlee Sr. Here's the story from the north shore.
