Dear Patriot,
If you’re sick of the FBI treating Americans’ Constitutional rights like trash, it’s absolutely crucial for you to give a critical $25, $50, $100, or more immediately.
NCLU client Dominic Pezzola wants to know if undercover federal agents or D.C. police led the attack on the U.S. Capitol building on January 6, 2021…and how many law enforcement officers were really there.
That’s why my colleague, attorney Roger Roots, has filed an emergency motion to get that answer to our client and to the American people.
Here’s what we know so far:
✓ The FBI had at least 8 confidential human sources on the ground,
✓ The D.C. Metro Police had at least 13 undercover plain clothes officers among the Proud Boys and other patriots,
✓ Another federal agency, Homeland Security Investigations, had at least 19 confidential human sources there as well.
So at least 40 law enforcement officers and assets were in the crowd pf peaceful protesters.
But there’s more.
Some of those undercover D.C. Metro officers marched with the Proud Boys. And some appear to have instigated the violence, seen on body-worn cameras chanting “Go! Go!,” “Stop the Steal!,” and “Whose house? Our house!” on Jan. 6.
You and I know the official D.C. narrative about a “violent insurrection” that was a “threat to our democracy” is a pack of lies.
But if police or federal agents or assets started the violence at the U.S. Capitol building, the rule of law is in deep, deep trouble in our country!
