Embedded World 2024 Highlights

During the 2024 Embedded World event, our partners revealed an array of cutting-edge offerings. Among them, the SiTime EPOCH Series stood out—an innovative, compact MEMS-based OCXO that clinched the esteemed "Best in Show Award" from "Embedded Computing Design."

U-BLOX debuted multiple new generations of Positioning, Cellular, and Short Range products, outlined below. WINSTAR introduced a sleek 7-inch IPS Display, while CONGATEC expanded their SMARC module line with the addition of the new Intel Platform AMSTON Lake.

Moreover, our latest partner, TAOGLAS, unveiled a revolutionary transparent Multi-GNSS Antenna, ideal for discreet installations in vehicles or POS systems.

u-blox F10 - L1/L5 GNSS Receiver

F10 is a new Dual Band GNSS Platform by
u-blox supporting L1 and L5. Available in MIA, MAX and NEO Formfactor, the new receivers achieve m-level accuracy and have very effective multipath mitigation to boost urban accuracy.

u-blox LEXI-R10 - Cat. 1bis module

LEXI-R10 are ultra-compact LTE Cat. 1bis modules, that operate in standard LTE Networks and measure only 16 x 16 mm.
They are compatible with other u-blox LEXI products and available in local and global variants.

New BLE modules with nRF54 Chips

ALMA-B1 with nRF54H20 and NORA-B2 with nRF54L15, extend the line-up of u-blox BLE modules. With 10x15 mm with integrated PCB antenna and extended Chip Features they are an ideal choice for a new generation of IoT products with enhanced security features.

Taoglas - small wideband LTE antenna

Taoglas new PCS.55.A is a wideband FR4 4G LTE Antenna, optimized to work in small devices. The 27 x 10 x 1.6 mm compact antenna operates from 600 - 3000 MHz . Groundplanes can be as little as 30 x 54 mm for decent performance.

Multi-Band GNSS Taoglas Invisible Antenna™

The Taoglas TFX125.A is a flexible and passive antenna, covering L1/L2/L5/L6/L-Band for GNSS application. Its unique transparent polymere material makes it almost invisible.
It comes with an enclosed carrier and FAKRA connector for use in EV chargers, vehicles and POS applications.

SiTime EPOCH series - OCXOs

SiTimes EPOCH series MEMS OCXOs won the "best in show award" by Embedded Computing Design at Embedded World 2024.
With 3x lower power consumption compared to a classic crystal based OCXO, the EPOCH series also requires 25x less PCB volume and provides hold-over times of up to 12h and ±1ppb stability.

congatec new SMARC modules with Intel Amston Lake CPUs

congatecs launched new SMARC modules conga-SA8 based on the Intel Atom x7000RE processor series (codenamed Amston Lake) and the Intel Core i3 processor. The modules support industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. New integrated AI capabilities accelerate the processing of deep learning inferences.

HD camera EVM2-OOM1

Featuring advanced image sensor with 1/2.6", this module captures detailed images suitable for industrial automation, surveillance, medical imaging, and automotive uses.
The EVM2-OOM1 offers a resolution 1920 x 1200 @60 fps over a 2-lane MIPI interface and can operate in -30 to +70°C temperature range.

Taoglas 2.5G RJ45 Magnetics

Featuring a popular footprint and compatible package to industry RJ45 Integrated Connectors standards, the Taoglas TMJM4938HENL is an RJ45 Integrated Connector 2.5G Base-T Single Port Tab Down with shielded short body design that offers extra space.

WINSTAR - 7inch IPS 1920x1200

This display has a seamless design, while delivering a resolution of 1200x1920 dots. Compact in size, the module measures 38.2 x 186.62 mm, with an aspect ratio of 10:16. Its color arrangement mode employs RGB-STRIPE, leveraging the MIPI DSI interface.
