| Email can be a huge distraction. Some days, as soon as I'm "done" getting through my inbox, I have 20 more emails to go through. In the second edition of How to Do More In Less Time,we give you some tips on how to handle email, and in this month's newsletter I'm featuring two posts with accompanying videos on the topic of email, but from a bit of a different perspective - learning how to communicate better through email to encourage better responses: Some news! It's been a busy start to the year for me. Among other things, I've started a mediation company with my husband and four other well-known lawyers in the area - Mediation Solutions of NY, LLC. We opened our doors in March and we have 14 mediators on board already. If you have a case in NY you want to mediate, please think of us! I've had the privilege of doing several training webinars on LinkedIn for law firms with lawyers across the globe in the first part of the year, and I look forward to doing more in the upcoming months. As always, I'm looking for your feedback. I'd love to get your comments on the videos, my columns, or ideas you have for future articles or newsletters. Let me know what you're thinking! Email me at [email protected]. |

Make LinkedIn Work for You | | My friend and colleague, Dennis Kennedy and I are proud to announce that our book, Make LinkedIn Work for You, A Practical Handbook for Lawyers and Other Legal Professionals is now available. The book is an adaptation of all of our previous work on LinkedIn, from webinars and presentations to articles and books. This book is different from what we've done before in that we published direct to Kindle first, and the book contains no screenshots. |
