Institution-level efforts could be pivotal in changing the transportation landscape.
| | Why Fleet Electrification Could Be a Game Changer for Electric Vehicles | I have argued with Sami (we argue a lot) about the future of electric cars, with me saying that they are still cars. But electric trucks: this is something we can agree on. Gas and diesel trucks are often left idling and are expensive to run. Electric vehicles cost a fraction as much to operate and are much simpler to maintain, and they don't pollute where they are driven. They don't sit around all day and get a lot of utulization on predictable routes. It also totally kills the argument about which is greener, driving to the store or getting home delivery. Sami may be checking his notes after reading this, but he is right about electric trucks. | |
