Good morning and thanks for starting your week with us. Here are some of today's top headlines. Electric vehicles: Gas-burning vehicles make up nearly half of New Orleans' greenhouse gas emissions. In an effort to meet the city's zero-emission goal, Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s administration is planning to dramatically increase the city's share of electric vehicles. Ben Myers has the details. Another loss: After a crushing loss to one of the worst teams in the NFL, New Orleans Saints coach Dennis Allen's job security has come into question. Here's a look at the what led to the Saints' seventh straight loss, and here's what Allen himself had to say about a potential mid-season coaching change. Low voter turnout: Data from the this year's early voting period show lower than usual early turnout in New Orleans, including among Black voters. By this point in 2020, about 49,000 Black New Orleanians had voted, compared to nearly 44,000 voters so far this fall.
