Severe storms expected in south-central MN
| July 5, 2022 Minneapolis Park Police are investigating a Monday night shooting that injured at least eight people. A Minneapolis Park Board official says the shooting happened about 11:30 p.m. Monday evening at Boom Island Park. Eight people are hospitalized, several in critical condition. There was not a formal Fourth of July event or fireworks at the park, but people were gathered there to celebrate the holiday. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
