Our patients use Dr. Google all the time to self-diagnose and self-treat themselves. They also look for influencers on sites such as YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook. If you look at YouTube searches, the biggest visits are to weight loss videos, with a focus on keto and intermittent fasting. One caveat that appears in videos for either of these programs is decreased insulin secretion and how that causes you to burn fat. This week, our intern Destiny Reed, PharmD. Candidate, Florida A&M College of Pharmacy, takes a look at a peer-reviewed published
