Good morning Voornaam Well, what a weekend that was. Edinburgh counts the economic boost as the Taylor Swift show moves on Scotland really was centre stage as Taylor Swift's Eras Tour attracted hundreds of thousands of people to Murrayfield stadium, with sparkling glitter and joy. The show lit up the night sky for three consecutive nights, and The Scotsman covered every moment. I shan't go on and on about it, although I'm tempted, but do check out our coverage if you missed it, if you were there, or if you want to know what all of the fuss was about. Next up, our Westminster Correspondent Alex Brown has treated us to some analysis on Rishi Sunak and his General Election campaign. Alex writes: "It has been a strange weekend, where in the aftermath of Rishi Sunak’s early exit from the D-day event, he has avoided all media. "The Prime Minister did no campaigning on Sunday, turned down all interviews, and cancelled those already in place. "With not long to go, Mr Sunak needs to dramatically alter his party’s fortunes, with one poll on Sunday even predicting the Tory numbers in Westminster could fall under 150." And now, The Euros. We're not too far off now, and our coverage is ramping up. The Scotland squad has now arrived in Germany, and were given a rousing welcome. Read all about it right here. Don't forget, you can keep up to date with news from across the country through out today with our live blog here. Have a brilliant day From The team at The Scotsman |
