ECHA adds one hazardous chemical to the Candidate List Our Member State Committee confirmed the addition of triphenyl phosphate (EC 204-112-2, CAS 115-86-6) to the Candidate List of substances of very high concern (SVHC) in its October meeting.
The list now contains 242 entries for chemicals that can harm people or the environment.
Companies are responsible for managing the risks of these chemicals and giving customers and consumers information on their safe use. |

Testing proposals We have launched new consultations on 9 testing proposals.
The deadline for comments is 19 December 2024. Call for evidence: screening report on tetraethyllead We are looking for comments on a draft screening report, and for relevant information on tetraethyllead (EC 201-075-4, CAS 78-00-2) in articles.
As required by REACH Article 69(2), we are investigating whether the use of this substance in articles is adequately controlled, and if a restriction is needed.

This report provides an overview of these projects and their recommendations to improve the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of these studies. It supplements the report of the EOGRTS review project from March 2023.
