Boyle Heights Building Fire Extinguished in 30 Minutes

lafdA fire at a one-story business building in Boyle Heights adjacent to Metro E (Expo) Line tracks was knocked down in 30 minutes by 44 firefighters early Tuesday. The fire was reported at 11:59 p.m. Monday at 3416 E. First St., near Lorena Street, LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said. No injuries were reported.
