Each year, the Black Sea region brings us many surprises. For example, Russia harvested 6% more wheat this season than in 2018.

The increase in the planted area, global climate change, a government policy aimed at the development of agriculture in order to boost export volumes, these factors explain the good harvest for some years now in Russia.

Despite this, weaknesses remain: problems with logistics, a harsh climate with dry hot winds in summer and low temperatures in winter, drought of several months.
