Have so much fun, they won’t realize they’re learning.
| | | | Hi there, Spring weather can be rainy, windy, warm, frosty, or even snowy – as much of the country experienced last week – or even all of these in the same week! This is the perfect time of year to encourage your children to look to the sky and appreciate the processes of nature that affect us every single day. By understanding how weather works, kids will build science skills they’ll use again and again: observing, measuring, predicting, and evaluating. Learning about the weather is such a fun and easy hands-on experience, they won’t even realize they’re learning! And when all of their senses are involved, they won’t even think of other things—like video games. 😉 Start by reading up on weather basics and continue the journey by learning about cloud types. (We even have a fun cloud chart that makes a great tool!) With all of this newly gained knowledge, you can encourage them to forecast your local weather! We’ve even collected some of our favorite science experiments about clouds and weather in one place for you. Check out the tools we've selected below to complete your weather forecasting adventures. (And, save 10% through 5/3/21!) |
