🌤️ Isolated showers are possible for southern Minnesota Thursday, but we’ll also see more sun and warmth. Temperatures will be warmer thanks to more sunshine with highs will be in the 70s for most.
💨 Northeast Minnesota will have reduced air quality Thursday and Friday due to wildfire smoke blowing in from Canada.

A program in Duluth that provides a secure parking lot for people experiencing homelessness to sleep in their vehicles has been temporarily closed while the city council considers an appeal from neighbors with safety, privacy and other concerns.

The woman is accused of driving her SUV into a group of people near Fifth Street and Hennepin Avenue just after midnight on Sept. 14. She hit 16-year-old De’Miaya Broome, who died from her injuries. Five other people were hurt. 📝 Deadline approaching for filing claim in settlement over tax-forfeited property sales. Some Minnesotans whose property was seized because they didn’t pay property taxes stand to gain thousands of dollars. The settlement stems from a lawsuit involving a Minneapolis woman that went to the U.S. Supreme Court.

More than three years after a family of four from India froze to death while trying to enter the U.S. along a remote stretch of the Canadian border in a blizzard, two men were given prison sentences.
🏀 Timberwolves season ends with 124-94 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Minnesota Timberwolves’ season is over. They were beaten by the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night 124-94. The Thunder jumped out to a 30 point lead in the first half and were never threatened.
